The Fort McMurray Chess Club is thrilled to announce that we will be holding our very first summer chess camp on July 24 - 28, 2023 for Age 6-12 !

If you are registered for 2023-2024 membership, you are eligible for member price of $200. ( non members $300)

Please join us for this exciting new program. Head coaches WIM Agnieszka Matras-Clement and Paul Clement will be with us for 5 full days of exhilarating chess programming, along with a plenty of other fantastic activities!

​

Guided hike by a local outdoor expert with a BSc in Forestry who knows everything there is to know about the beautiful Boreal forest surrounding us.

​

Wilderness safety training taught by a local expert and youth coach that no child in Fort McMurray should be without.

​

An afternoon of water fun in our very own little homemade 'splash park,' complete with a delicious barbecue.

​

Outdoor games and sports, arts and crafts, friendly competitions, exciting chess tournaments, and a delicious pizza lunch!
